OMOTU (Omo-Turkana Peoples' Alliance) represents the indigenous peoples who live on the banks of Lake Turkana and the Omo River in Northern Kenya. Recently, these folks have found themselves in a precarious situation, as their native lands will be flooded by the damming of the Omo River. The money we are raising will go to OMOTU to provide basic medical supplies as well as indestructible soccer balls (http://oneworldfutbol.com/) for the children of the region! It's amazing how much of a difference even a couple dollars of medical supplies or one afternoon of fun and play can make in these kids' lives. It should be a great night and it's certainly a great cause! Come out and see old friends, get your groove on and support the kids at the same time.

Soul Imperial @ Legion

The Soul Imperial DJs are back at Legion on Friday, Nov. 19th spinning the party jams that you love. You know how we do - raps, reggae, r&b, plenty of throwback jams and maybe even drunk requests if you're nice about it!

The lovely Sailor Jerry Rum gals will be making an appearance, come get some 92 proof rum from 11pm 'til it's gone!

We'll be celebrating our homie Lorna's birthday, come through and join the fiesta!
