OMOTU (Omo-Turkana Peoples' Alliance) represents the indigenous peoples who live on the banks of Lake Turkana and the Omo River in Northern Kenya. Recently, these folks have found themselves in a precarious situation, as their native lands will be flooded by the damming of the Omo River. The money we are raising will go to OMOTU to provide basic medical supplies as well as indestructible soccer balls (http://oneworldfutbol.com/) for the children of the region! It's amazing how much of a difference even a couple dollars of medical supplies or one afternoon of fun and play can make in these kids' lives. It should be a great night and it's certainly a great cause! Come out and see old friends, get your groove on and support the kids at the same time.
